Winner Winner Chicken Dinner....

I do not know where this saying comes from but it came into my head today. Lucky me I won a RAK from Carla today! Yeah I am so excited! Love you Carla....check out her blog, she makes the most amazing cards....today's card is extra special!

Hey Jennifer, I found this on the internet - so there are no guarantees, but maybe it's where that saying comes from! ;-)

"Years ago every Las Vegas casino had a 3 piece chicken dinner with potato and veggie for $1.79. A standard bet back then was $2.00, hence when you won a bet you had enough for a chicken dinner. So now you know the rest of the story."

I saw the movie 21 and it was used there, so perhaps there is some truth to it.
