A little scrappin' today..

Well got a few things done, seem to be slow right now, maybe it is the heat!

A Kelly Panacci inspired LO, using 360 line of paper, card stock stickers, boarder sticker (Artsy line) and Gem Stickers. Other items Glitter Thickers, MM brads and Prism CS. It is not a 12 x 12 LO, I can never seem to cut the edges of KP paper, they are all so pretty and so much detail I didn't want to cut them off, so a little kilter on a 12 x 12 cardstock, so the LO over all is around 14 x 14....

Here is a little frame for the Prima "Go Green" contest. I reused a Prima flower tin for the frame on the title and also made it into a shaker box as well. Paper, flowers and swirl Prima, K&Co diecuts and various brads.

Seagulls?

I know a lot of people may think differently about this little guys than I do. Yes, I agree they are a messy bird, but when you really look at them, they a quite beautiful. The other day, they were really the only item going to take pictures of in the parking lot of the marina, so this is what I shot, with a little playing in PS to boot!

Sail Away...

Well we have been on vacation for the last 4 days or so sailing in our boat on Georgian Bay. It was fun and it is a "learning" experience every time we do it. (right hubby :-) So I am just catching up and have a few pictures to share. Have been trying to practice a bit, need more practice on moving objects and low light conditions.....yeeshhhh....some really bad photos were taken, but there were a few good ones as well...so I will share those! The wild life will never be the same up there after my hunting and stalking of the birds!

Sweet cards...

Aren't these cute? Recently I have been to this site Mainly Flowers and have been inspired to make a few sculpted flowers myself. Here is my take on Joanne's beautiful flowers. Materials used are Kelly Panacci papers (Scrap-Graph and Orange Mini Dots), chipboard from Artsy and 360 line, stamp from KP Sentiments, various ribbon and base cards DCWV Embossed Cards.

Outside the BOX

Well for those of you that know me, it is a small miracle for me to step out side my "scrap" box. I normally do not do altered items, but lately I have been looking at a lot of other people's blogs and have been inspired, but I hit a whole new level of inspiration last week when I was introduced to Debrina Pratt's blog. I seriously fell in love with her work, it is truly amazing to me. So, inspired by her fairies I tried to step outside my realm and do something different for me. I don't think I could ever replicate what she does, but thanks Debrina for sharing your art with us all, it is an inspiration.

Here is an oldie....and a RAK

I ran across this the other day and thought that I probably have never posted this little album. I made it for my DH last year for our anniversary. I gave it to him as a card. We don't usually exchange gifts, but I like to always make something for him anyways....

So here is the RAK (PRIZE) part of this post...for the life of me I can not remember who's paper line I used on this. It was a little file folder kit, with some added stuff....so if you happen to know what company makes it please post here, I am sure when I hear the names it will ring a bell. First person to identify it (when it rings a bell) will win a small RAK from my stash....so please give it your best guess.

Can a person fall in love with a stamp?

Cause I think I have! I love this new stamp I got from Kodomo Inc. I love koi fish and this stamp I love. It also comes with a water back ground stamp which I did not use for this card. I love how the fish kinda flipped up on the head and tails when the water paper dried!! Anyways...I am officially in love with a stamp....go check them out for yourself they have some pretty cool stamps....

This coming weekend.....

Don't forget we all will be celebrating our fathers this weekend. Have fun and spend some quality time with yours this weekend. For those who have fathers who have passed take the time to remember the good times.

My Dad has been gone for many many years, but I still remember him well. I have only a few good pictures of him....this one is how I remember him and it still makes me smile to see this picture today.

I hope everyone has a Happy Father's day.

Well, it not quite new, it was a thrift store find and I repainted it today...will have to post a picture soon, it worked out great! Anyways, the mess on my table has to be cleaned up after I made this...seemed like I pulled everything out to make it!
