Some from the past week or so...hope you enjoy them. Not a lot to say tonight...I am at my desk scrappin' some more! Kat....I told you I would work on it tonight and I really am !! Check back tomorrow for another one!
My Niece and Nephew.....a rare sighting of them together, smiling!
I was so excited to be able to visit San Fran on a recent business trip. I thought that I would not be able to enjoy the city, 'cause I was there to work. But I took some time and toured around. To my suprise I got to go to Alcatraz!! I was sooooooooo excited, don't ask me why, I just was. I took a boat around the island and the place was so amazing to take photos of. Not sure if I did it justice though.....here are a few from my trip to this great city! Enjoy.
My favourite kit club is Justcre8. Sue's kits just keep getting better and better. This month kit rocks my house. I love the colours in the paper, all the stuff and the stamps are FAB. I love the Skribblz in the kit as well, you can not have to many of these little gems! Kat always does a fantastic job! The DT is fantastic and so are all the members. They keep the message board moving and great to chat with daily. Well I am heading back there to put in my order for the kit....before they are all gone. Bye...
Just playing with a few more pics from our last vacation. For some reason I love to play with photo's and change their character. This one turned out like a painting. There are so many posibilities with Photoshop.
No I don't mean KD (kraft dinner)! I mean KP as in Kelly Panacci! I love that she lets me play with her new products and i do love ALL of them. Here are two of my most recent LO's with the 360 degree line. I used some 360 paper, chipboard, 3-d word embelishments and two sets of stamps (360 and decorative details). Check out her stuff at http://www.kellypanacci.com/.
Finally down loaded my files from DC weekend! So who is this behind the hand? Take a guess! We had a 70's night costume party, a bunch of ladies got dressed to the hilt and this was one of the participants. For the others that were caught by my camera watch out...oh by the way I do take bribes ;-) For those participants that want COPIES please email me!
Work last week was a nightmare....I am not gonna talk about it...I am just moving onto a new week tomorrow and hope for the best. Unfortunately it got in the way of finishing my NSD LO's so nothing new to post, hopefully this week. We went to the sail boat for the weekend. Cleaned and cleaned and cleaned the 30 YAERS of grunge away, it is almost presentable....unless you look in the bildge....YIKES I left those for the next trip. We took her out for a spin....or should I say a very rough ride today. Very, very, very windy and choppy, almost too much for us as novices... but I love to keel and make her go fast...but parts of the trip were quite scary, I think at one point I almost had it over at 35 degrees, toe rail or more in the water, FUN.... it boosts the old adrenyln. My face is windburt, lips are parched, bruises all over and I got a handful of festering slivers to show for this weekend. I must say this ain't no girly sport nor one for faint of heart. I always thought that sailing was a leisure sport...NOT. I guess it can be if you want to leave it on the dock or just putt around in the breeze......so for now...I am going to leave you with this....one of my favourite life says....today it seems even more appropriate.
"You can't change the direction of the WIND, but you can always adjust your SAILS."
I am back! and had a grate time with everyone at DC. Here's looking forward to next year! (wink Patti and Elia that's for you!). I had a lot of fun with Holly, Lori, Angela, Tina, Kimmie, Patti, Elia, Jen, Vicki, Janice, Deanna etc...All of you were great to hand out with! Thanks for a great weekend. I got almost 5 LO's done, sounds like not alot, but it was for me...I will post later this week. Hope everyone had a great time this weekend. Now off to unload the car which is pack to the roof with SB supplies...not sure why I needed all that stuff....smile!! Janice, Lori, Holly...I haven't downloaded my pics yet...I will soon and post for the world to see your FAB 70's costumes!
I am packing up the car and heading out to Destination Create! It is being put on by The Scrapping Nook in Fonthill, ON. There is about 85 woman meeting to scrap the weekend away at a hotel in Thorold, ON. We are going to have fun talking, creating, scrappin'. I am also treating myself to a pedicure while I am there! So off I go...see you when I get back, hopefully with finished projects to share!
I am going to miss U girlie!! I am so happy for you and your move. Your gonna' ROCK them in the head office. But, on the selfish side I am going to miss U. Who am I going to hold my spot in class? who is going to laugh at my silly "dances"? who is going to try to kick me in the middle of class? Who am I going to make faces at when I miss a step? I am going to be so alone with the only the "others" in the class.....man I am going to miss U, I just wanted to thank you for being my "workout" friend, I wish you all the best...you know where to find me, please keep in touch......NOW GO and shake up the financial world and keep on SHAKIN' YOUR BOOTY!!! Namesta..........Love J
I am a self confessed workaholic. So you may ask when do I have time to be artistic? Well anytime I am not working cause' I am also a scrapaholic and need to be creative. One balances out the other and vice versa, if you know what I mean. I am a dual brain thinker, very analytical and logical by day, but creative and intuitive by night! I have a wonderful DH that supports my habit. I have no children of my own but have a plethara of kids in my life that my friends generously donate to my photography.
