She Art

I am taking this on line course in Mix Media.  It is by Christy Tomlinson...most amazing woman to watch how she creates these art pieces.  I have been playing.  Hard for me to be messy but I am finding this kinda...freeing..what ever happens, happens.....

Here is my first She Art piece.  Let me know what you think.  I like it.  As Chritsy says...she's a cutie!



Kaiser Summary

Well, not sure if  I missed out on this one....but here it goes...I love Kaiser products and have done many, many items with all of their great lines.  Here are a few I want to share again..I love all their papers and embellishments!  I was so lucky when I was Featured in Canadian Scrapbooker to be able to use the Pack Your Bags line.  Right now is their design team call so I am trying out.  Wish me luck!

Something New - Mixed Media

Well the time has come for me try to do something new and creative.  It is Mixed Media....a little of this, a little of that and voila!  I have combined, paint, gesso, puffy cream, inks, sprays, tissue paper, rubons, etc to do these.  It is so much fun to do, messy, messy, messy but oh so freeing!  I did one at SF last week and then when I got home did another...I am itching to do more but want to go get some gesso and more canvases first.  So here they are so for they are titled #1 and #2..This is soooooo not me, but I feel it can so be me if I let it all go! Let me know what you think.

One more from Scrapfest

Have a great time at Scrapfest last weekend with all my friends and acquaintances there.  No scrappin done but a lot of chatting, shopping, eating and laughing.  Thanks everyone for a great weekend!  Looking forward to the fall for the next event!  Here is one more layout that was in the booth.  I think it is one of my faves, not because it is a rocket science layout or that it have anything special on it.  But I love the photo of Grace on it...what a sweet one...thanks for looking.  See you soon...

Scrapfest!

Next weekend is Scrapfest in Kitchener! Can't wait to see all my friends and meet some new ones.  You should come out if you can and do a little shopping, do some make and takes and visit with everyone.  It is a great weekend away.  Come visit me at the Pointer Scrapbooking booth.  I have been scrapping away with all the new products they have and these will be decorating the booth.

Playing Along at NVS Again...

I have been playing along at NVS again.  Each month they have a challenge to scrap along with using their inspirational collage. This month it was this great mix of images.  You take what you want from it and incorporate it into your layout. 

Here is mine.  The colours got me and decided to use my niece as the photo.  A few other items were the flowers, the & and the butterflies.  This is a 6 x 12 layout, I like this size when I have tiny pictures.  Hope you enjoy.   Wish me luck, I am hoping they pick me to be a guest designer at the site!  Next month come and see what is posted and play along with everyone.  There is a prize as well each month to the lucky one that is chosen.

For some reason I am drawn  to this song tonight, so iconic as well as ironic at the same time.  There are many people who have sung it but by are my fav is KD Lang...off to listen to some more and do a little scrappy cleaning.  Click over to my sidebar music and click on hallelujah..J

Just a couple of layouts, I am getting ready to go to Scrapfest, and each time Heidi kindly lets me decorate the booth for fun!  This time no exception, I am on the move and scrappin' fast as there is not a lot of time before the event.  Hope you enjoy....bye for now off to scrap. Happy Scrappy Day!

Not a lot of time today to do anything Scrappy today..but just wanted to share a bit of scrappy news...

Check out Scraptime today.  It is a video that was made at CHA for all the Canadian Retailers they had an event for.  When you get to section 4:54 you will see my creations on the table and Kelly mentions my name!  How cool is that..thanks Kelly again for letting me play with your stuff!

Also, I have been spending time at a new blog, My Creative Scrapbook, and loving all the inspiration there. Today I visited and found this,   http://mycreativescrapbook.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=2974, chosen as LOTW..how much fun is that.  Thanks for making my day MCS!
