Just Cre8 - Week #2 and Special shout out!

Here is my creation for week #2 of Just Cre8 Idol contest. It was fun to do, challange was to use a rebus in the LO. Rebus=a combination of words, symbols, pics etc to make up a title, story, sentance. Not sure where this one was going to go for me, but eventually it got there I think. Thanks Sue for the challange!! Lots of gre8 LO's this week go and check them out.

My shout out goes to Carla, I have never met her in person, she is one talented scrapper...check out her on my blog roll....turns out she is also one super sweat person as well..thanks for the kindness....hugs!

Smacked down............and sidelined

Well that's what I feel right now. Do you ever just feel so out of whack and not with the game that you just want to sleep , but can't? Stress if a bad thing. No matter what is causing it or the many things that can cause it, its just bad. I have a huge tolerance for stressful things but it just seems to be a bit too much in the last few days. Stress has also taken my mojo away from me as well. Probably just when I need the relaxation the most, I can't seem to scrap. So stay tuned..stick around and hopefully soon everything will calm down, work out for the best and I will be more productive posting again.

I can't believe it has been....

Almost 10 days since I posted last. I apologize to you all who keep coming and don't find something new. Life is a wee bit stressful right now and a lot of things are keeping me from posting and creating. Tomorrow I will post a few items when I get some good light to take some pics.



Last weekend I went to the Creative show twice and hung out with my favourite people at Scrapbook and Cards Today booth. Kerry, Catherine, Michelle, Tina and all those that stopped by to say hello it was great to see you. I was off to the Henry's camera show on Saturday and went to a few seminars.....and bought the lens that I have been dying to get...a 100 mm, 2.4 macro lens...yippie...this weekend I will be playing! I also went with Tina to the Style at Home show which was good as well, didn't buy much, which is probably a good thing.


For now I will leave you with this....I entered myself into a 5 week contest at Justcre8, and this was my first submission for week 1. Challenge was to use an advertising slogan in the the LO. Of course this is what I did! There were SOOOOOOO many great LO's entered this week, it was a fun time and I loved what everyone did. Can't wait for the next challenge to be posted. I've got a secret!

I feel like running around and telling everyone, but all I can do is tell you "I've got a secret.....and I can't share....I am working on something right now the I am proud of and wish I could share it.....someday I will get to... but until then I've got a secret!"

Anyways here are a few pics from this weekend, I am behind on taking pics of my scrapbooking, seams like by the time I get to do it there is no light left outside to take the pictures.

My family was here and we went out to the pumpkin patch, ate and chatted the weekend away.

Hi All!

Well it has been a busy few weeks, getting the house ready for guests next weekend, recovering a little bit from not feeling to hot, a little scappin' and a little photography.
