Flower Tutorial #1 - Paper Paper Paper

I hope you enjoy this.  I made these flowers from primarily paper and a few bits of bling I started with a sheet of Kaisercraft pattern paper.  I chose one with a big pattern on it, but it does not have to be as you can use a piece of paper that has a repetitive pattern.  This is the pattern I started with...
Sakura Park Hanami

Firstly I cut around one of the flowers with my scissors (or you can do it with an exacto knife).  I left a white edge around the flower leaves so it would pop more in the end.

Next I started to cut out the same flower but "in pieces" following right on the edge of the design.

Take each piece you cut out and curl the edge of the tip of flower with your fingers.

Put a little glue on the bottom edge of the flower piece and attach to the original flower over top of the matching section.

Continue doing this on more sections of the flower, I did not do every section so it would have higher and lower sections.

Once completed add some Kaisercraft pearls to the center of the flower for more detail.
Here is my finished layout I love the flowers, they are so simple to make yet so affective!  I hope you enjoyed this post, please try it and show me what you do!  I would love to see it.
