Gre8 News!

So I am so very happy and pleased to announce that Sue from JustCre8 called me today and asked me to be part of the 2009 DT! Yippie! I love her kits and have been part of the community from the beginning and love to hang out there! Check it out! I can't wait to play each month and share it with everyone! Here are a few items from my scrapbook weekend with my GURLs....Not much got done, but I do like this one....A TON of cutting and pasting together. It is a canvas...it looks better in person when you can see the 3D.

I got happy mail from Canadian Scrapbooker the other day asking for a LO for the summer issue...it is an unusual one for me, a low pager, with lots of photos, a very small amount of pattern paper and a few embellies...so nice to have something different picked up. Check it out when it comes out in June.

Always Behind

Why do I always seem to be behind in posting.....never enough time to do it all. Anyway, just wanted to thank TINA and KIMMIE for taking the time to come for the weekend and spend time with me. We had fun scrapping, eating, shopping and laughing! I was not all that productive in the scrapping area but oh well it was fun. Looking forward to seeing them again shortly at Scrapfest (or before!) it is too bad they did not live closer....

My new niece - Grace

Here is a lo of my new niece, her name is Grace Gabriel, isn't she cute. This lo was a mish mash of stuff, distressing and layering...just trying out a different style.

I was asked to try out for the COVER and was chosen. I am so happy and excited....and all that gushy stuff. Thanks to everyone at CANADIAN SCRAPBOOKER to make this real for me!

Life cant be better....

Than when your swimming with a turtle. I love turtles and here is my new best friend. We had a swim today in the big blue ocean and he came a long for a little swim with me! In addition to him we saw sharks yesterday, a million lobster, 2 eagel rays, 2 large eels and lots of grouper! I dont want to come back !

Just another LO!

Not much today, just wanted to share a LO that I did for a progressive scraplift at Justcre8. One person scraplifts the original LO, then another person scrapbooks the next LO and so on. It is fun to see the results. The vine is cut from a piece of PP and pop dotted!
